The body produces creatine primarily to act as a key energy “buffer” not only in skeletal muscle but also in the brain and heart. By supporting rapid ATP recycling, endogenous creatine influences metabolism, cellular resilience, and functional performance – making a greater understanding of its natural role in the body increasingly relevant to clinical practice across the lifespan.

In this live webinar, naturopath Kira Sutherland will trace creatine from core biochemistry (synthesis, transport, and the creatine kinase/phosphocreatine system) to its primary physiological function. Variables such as dietary status (e.g. vegetarian/vegan status) and periods of higher demand will be discussed, along with delving into the question of whether there’s potential for various therapeutic applications in clinic.

You'll Receive:

  1. 1 CPE Point Certificate
  2. Copy of Presentation Slides
  3. Any additional resources
