Bio Concepts Pty Ltd ACN 010 516 775 ("Bio Concepts", "we" or "us") recognises and values the protection of your personal information. We use reasonable steps to ensure that all personal information is handled sensitively and securely. Bio Concepts is committed to complying with its legal obligations including the Privacy Act 1968 (Cth) ("Act").
This statement outlines why we need to collect personal information, who we may share that information with, and how you may access and/or correct personal information that we keep.
Personal information we collect from you
So that we can provide goods and services to you, we may ask for personal information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and bank account or credit card details. We may not be able to supply the requested goods and services to you if you do not provide the information requested. However, under no circumstances will we request or collect any information about your religious orientation, sexual orientation, ethnic origins, or political affiliations. As a general rule we do not collect sensitive information directly from you. However, in circumstances where we require sensitive information from you for a lawful purpose, for example for the purpose of providing our services to you, we will usually seek your consent to collect it.

Bio Concepts takes great care to store your personal information in such a way as to protect such information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information collected from you is accurate, up to date, complete and stored in a secure environment and accessed only by our authorised personnel. We take measures to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.
Bio Concepts will take reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information that we collect and use is accurate, complete and up to date. However, should any of the personal details and information we collect from you change in any way, it is your responsibility to advise us of that change so that our records can be updated and continue to be of service to you.

You have the right to access the personal information that we hold about you at any time, subject to certain exemptions under the Act.

If you believe that the personal information that we hold in relation to you is inaccurate, not up to date or incomplete, you may ask us to alter that personal information and we will do so unless we reasonably believe that the personal information is accurate, up to date and complete. If we do not agree to alter that personal information, we will allow you to provide a statement as to why you believe that personal information is inaccurate, not up to date or incomplete and we will keep that statement with your personal information.
