Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is one of the most common vaginal conditions seen in practice, yet many practitioners feel uncertain when it comes to diagnosis, testing, and ongoing management – particularly when symptoms recur or treatment doesn’t go to plan.

This webinar provides a clear, practical framework for understanding and treating BV from a naturopathic perspective. Rather than focusing on rigid protocols, it emphasises clinical reasoning – how to identify BV accurately, how to distinguish it from other vaginal presentations, how to choose and interpret appropriate tests, and how to approach treatment safely and effectively.

Designed for practitioners who want to feel more confident working with vaginal health, this session will help you understand why BV develops, how to clear it appropriately, and how to navigate next steps when the first approach isn’t enough.

You’ll Learn:

  1. Identify bacterial vaginosis confidently and differentiate it from other vaginal conditions
  2. Select and interpret appropriate vaginal testing in clinical practice
  3. Understand the key drivers of BV and why it can recur
  4. Apply safe, practical naturopathic treatment principles and know what avenues to explore if symptoms persist

You'll Receive:

  1. 1 CPE Point Certificate
  2. Copy of Presentation Slides
  3. Any additional resources
