Overview
Bio Concepts returns with a bigger, bolder two-day summit: Neuro Resilience Summit – Recovering the Sleep-Brain-Body Connection. Together we'll explore the essential link between sleep, brain function, and physical health.
This event delves into the science and clinical management of conditions such as PMDD, depression, Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple sclerosis, and mental fatigue. Sessions will examine how sleep, circadian rhythms, light exposure, nutrition, stress, gut health, immune regulation and oral health collectively shape mental and physical wellbeing.
Attendees will gain actionable insights into reframing mental health and addiction, optimising sleep hygiene, and leveraging chronobiology and gut microbiota research for neurodegenerative and mood disorders. The program also addresses the role of light as a nutrient, the importance of synchronising biological clocks, and the influence of environmental factors on hormonal and immune health. Practical workshops will offer tools for improving patient compliance and recognising the links between infections, oral health and neuroinflammation.
Learning Insights
- Strengthen sleep quality and circadian alignment to support conditions including depression, PMDD, Alzheimer’s disease, and autoimmunity, with practical strategies that go beyond standard sleep advice.
- Understanding the importance of light, including its role in hormonal and immune regulation. We will cover the impact of light environments, the importance of natural sunlight, and practical interventions for office-based patients.
- Apply gut–brain and nutritional insights, discover the connection between gut microbiota, nutrition, and brain function, including new research on the ketogenic diet for depression and the role of sleep and the gut in Alzheimer’s disease.
- Recognise oral health drivers of neuroinflammation, such as jaw growth, airway restriction and chronic mouth breathing, and learn how to assess and address them within holistic patient care.
- Practical tools focused on maximising patient compliance, especially for those suffering from mood disorders and chronic stress. Attendees will learn approaches for reframing mental health and addiction to reduce stigma and improve outcomes.
