Depression is now the leading cause of ill health and disability worldwide with around 300 million people affected by the condition. And it’s not just rife amongst adults, a high percentage of children and adolescents are now affected. It’s estimated that 40% of high school students and 25% of primary school aged students experience depression and/or anxiety. In this Lunch Literacy Live, we explore depression as a condition, some of the multifactorial causes and the importance of individualised treatments.
