Orthoplex Manuka Zinc+ Lozenge contains Althaea officinalis, traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to relieve symptoms of sore throat, mild tonsillitis, dry unproductive cough, and reduction of the severity of symptoms of mild upper respiratory tract infections.
It has been formulated specifically with zinc gluconate to easily dissociate in saliva, dispersing zinc ions throughout the upper respiratory mucosa for a localised effect. It supports the immune system in adults and children (over 5 years of age).
Each lozenge contains Manuka honey and essential oils, along with Marshmallow, a demulcent herb traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to help soothe the respiratory tract and irritated tissues.
